Tonight’s “Living St. Louis” episode at 7 p.m., on St. Louis PBS affiliate KETC Channel 9, highlights Webster University’s Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence (SPICE) and the Girls’ Invitational tournament held on campus last summer.

Webster University’s chess team was also in the news over the weekend as part of The New York Times coverage of the recent Pan-American Intercollegiate Team Chess Championship, where Webster’s A and B teams tied for first. The article appeared on page 20 of the print edition.
