Finding the right plan Chess tactic, Puzzle Solving Position after 27…Qf6 (Nataf – Nakamura, 2008 Montreal) It is White to move. Can you find the best continuation for White? Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
1. Nc4 Rxc4
2. Qd7+ Kb8
3. Qb5+ Ka8
4. Qa6+ Kb8
5. Qb6+
1/2-1/2
Perhaps 1.c3 bxc3 2. Nb5+ followed by 3.Nxc3 is better for white as the black king is draughty.

1.Qd4 is tempting. It seems to me White wants to simplify quickly and then concentrate on the extra white queenside pawn. But there’s probably something here I’ve overlooked.
Oh yes, I love 1. Qd4. I think you’re right.
