I guess 1. f5!
I don’t overlook all variations that arise, but one is:
1. f5 Nxe6??
2. fxe4+ Ke2 (Nxf8 Rxf8+)
3. Qg2+ Ke3
4. exd3
Why don’t I see any answers to this post?
To continue my first post, other lines are:
1. f5 Ke2
2. fxe4 Qxe4 (Nxe6? still fails to Qg2+. Rxe4 or Q other move both fail to Bg4#)
3. Bg4+ Kd3
4. Bf5
winning queen.
1. f5 Qg3?
2. fxe4+ Ke2
3. Qxg3
1. f5 some Q move
2. fxe4+ Ke2
3. Bg4#
So I am not able to see how white saves queen after 1. f5!
And:
1. f5 Nxe6
2. fxe4+ Nxf8
3. Rxf8+ Qf3
4. Qg2+! Ke3
5. Rxf3
