How come Kosteniuk is not playing for her Russian team? Did she quit chess?
No Humpy, no Kosteniuk, no Xu Yuhua, no Monica Socko.
Where is US Grandmaster Alisa Maric in this tournament?
“Alisa Maric holds international chess titles of women’s grandmaster (WGM) and men’s international master (IM). Results she made makes her best Serbian female chess player ever and because of her birth place, she’s often considered as best American-born female chess player ever. Some of her achievements are still unique in national history of chess.”

Does anybody know how and why these teams in particular got invited? Just wondering to see the fairly weak Vietnamese team whereas countries with far stronger players (e.g. France, Germany) are missing.
China A will win, no doubt. It’s a nice oportunity for the IM and WGM to win against the Chinese GM, altough it’s not easy might happen.
