This game was just played recently. Black just played 27…Nb4. White responded with 28.Rf3 instead of capturing the Knight and opening up the Queenside. Now it is Black to move. How should Black proceed?
Greetings, 1…Na2+! 2.Kd1 Nxc3+ 3.Qxc3 Qb1+ 4.Qc1 Qe4! (5…c3 is coming with effect followed by cfile invasion) 5.Qc3(Stopping 5…c3 threat) 5…Kg7!! (Now f6 followed By Bg4 is Dangerous)
6.Rfg3 Bf5! (Now the positional threat of (6…Qc2+ 7. Qxc2 bxc2 followed by doubling on the bfile gives Black a Large plus)
7.Nc6 (Heading for b4) 7…Qc2+! 8.Qxc2 bxc2+ 9.Kc1 Rb6! (planning to double Rooks) 10.Nb4 Rxb4! 11. axb4 a3! 12.bxa3 Rxa3 13. e4!?( otherwise 13…c3 and 14…Ra1+ is decisive)
13….Ra1+ 14.Kd2 c3+! 15.Kxc3 c1Q+ 16.Rxc1 Rxc1+ 17.Kd2 (17.Kb2 Rf1+) 17…Rb1! 18.exf5 Rxb4 and Black should be winning. White’s pawns are very weak.
Ofcourse I’m sure there are improvements for both sides but hey, I’m just having fun.
I just went through my analysis again and realized there where some BIG blunders (To put myself to the Test, I analyze without Board and Pieces). The Exchange sacrifice on b4 is not necessary and simply 9…Rb3! instead of 9…Rb6?! is stronger. I hallucinated on move 14 and 15; missing the simple Kxc2! instead of 15 Kxc3?
Keep these type of Positions coming Susan… they reflect real over the Board struggles. Thanks.
Na2+ looks strong.

i coundnt find a suitable answer, who palyed the game?
i probably go for Na2 and NxN check. then i dont think trading queen would help, so i get my queen out and try and pin the first three files abc.
1… Na2+
2.Kd1 Nxc3+
3.Qxc3
(3.bxc3? Qb1+ 4. Ke2 Qxg1 5. Qb2 -+)
3… Qb1+
4.Qc1…
(4.Ke2? Qxg1 5. Rg3 Bg4+ 6. Nxg4 -+)
4…Qxc1+
5. Kxc1 Kg7! -+
e.g. 6.Nc6 Rb6 7.Nb4 Rxb4!
8.axb4 a3 9.bxa3 Rxa3 -+
i admit: i can not look forward more than 6 – 9 moves with “tons of pieces on board”. thus, the 18 move variation given by King might be more precise.
greetings
BTW
1…Na2+
2.Nxa2? bxa2
3.Rxf5 a1=Q+
4.Kc2 Rxb2+
5.Kc3 Qxa3 is simply a mate…
