Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Svidler rules!
Go Judit!
Judit Polgar, not Peter Leko, has been the leading Hungarian players for years. Judit had to take a maternity leave and her ratings dipped or remained stagnant.
But Judit is the best, most exciting Hungarian player for years even while Leko was playing.
I love Judit so much. Too bad she’s already taken. lol
Just Judit !
Mamedyarov is playing Board 4 now behind Mamedov? Is that correct? Azerbaijan has been employing this strategy of fielding Shak in the low boards for some time, but it has not reaped benefits. Maybe he should start playing Board 1 where he belongs.
