NEW YORK (Sept. 7) – No one ever seems to run Rafael Nadal ragged, and yet Andy Murray did just that in the U.S. Open semifinals.
Murray finished a stunning, rain-interrupted 6-2, 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-4 victory Sunday at Flushing Meadows to reach his first Grand Slam final and stop the No. 1-ranked Nadal’s 19-match winning streak at major tournaments.
Trying to become the first British man to win a major tennis championship since Fred Perry at the 1936 U.S. Open, Murray will face four-time defending champion Roger Federer in the final Monday night.

Murray may upset Federer too. He’s hot right now.
I think Federer will win it. Federer will then be one away from Sampras’ record 14- he should break it in all probability still.
Murray is British. Engish just don’t win tennis grand slams anymore after Fred Perry, but unlike Tim Henman Murray is not Engish so he might well win.
Federer will win in 4 sets is my prediction- although the tiebreak will go his way.
And just to prove what a hot tennis player I am … I use a Fred Perry signature wooden racket!
Murry’s record versus Federer is 2 wins 1 loss.
Murry is a British Citizen, but is a Scot!!
Murry has at least an even chance to defeat Federer.

It will be FedEx all the way. Murray’s first final nerves, he won’t stand a chance!
Murray was just a flop.
