Maybe Svidler isn’t totally irrelevant….I mean..he’s stronger than Gelfand and look what HE did witha second class field. With nobody higher rated…he can certainly win this. I think his third title. Good on him…I always liked his play.
The guy has actually already won five. Impressive.
It would be the sixth title for svidler. But this time Jakovenko will overcome.
