Chessdom.com registered an increase of 93,85% in the first quarter of 2013 compared to the same period in 2012, reaching over 3 million visits. That is a total of 1,5 million visits increase, with other major statistics keeping similar levels – each visitor reads on average more than 9 articles daily, while spending 23:36 minutes on site.
All this translates into 28 million pageviews over 3 months, the highest day being March 31st when 1,5M pageviews were registered.

With Q1 being historically the lowest visits quarter, new records are on the horizon with coming competitions Alekhine Memorial, Norway Chess, World Cup 2013, European Club Cup 2013, Grand Prix, Grand Slam, and multiple summer opens.

Growth in the mobile sector visits
The mobile visits sector registers serious growth compared to 2012. Q1 of this year sees 404,41% increase of high end mobile devices. Apple iPad grows 358%, Apple iPhone 411%, while Samsung Galaxy SII and S3 total goes on 820% rise. New devices have also appeared on the top 10 list as Google Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note, Nokia Lumia 800, and SonyEricsson LT18i Xperia Arc.
