In the last two rounds, Abby has defeated the two highest rated players in the field. All the games are downloadable and playable at http://www.vachess.org/invitational.htm

The schedule is a pretty tough G/2 with 7 games over 2.5 days. The 2 High School kids in the field, Abby and Adithya, might have the most stamina as both have won their last two games.

Prizes are $500-300-200 with essentially a $10 EF. Great RR experience for everyone involved.

Mike Hoffpauir is directing for the VCF as his RR tournament to make NTD qualifications.

81 player George Washington Open is going on in the final round with 4-0’s GM Paragua and IM Kaufman playing on Bd.1

Special thanks to Mike Atkins for the report.
