Nice job! Totally agreeing with you about Sloan.
I enjoy your ChessCafe columns. However, for a change of pace, I think you should take some Class C and/or Class B player games from some of your tournaments and analyze them for us. Thanks.
Robin, this is not what I ask to write. I was asked to write a commentary column, not analysis. I do game analysis in my Chess Life and Europe Echecs columns. Each publication has a different perspective in mind.
Best wishes,

Hi Susan,
Like I said before, it’s time to CLEAN HOUSE on the USCF Executive Board.
I’ll vote for you and anyone else who is NOT a current member. It’s unforgivable and some are guilty by association to that nut-job Sam Sloan.
Non-Profits should be about serving the MEMBERSHIP and serving the IDEAS OF CHESS, and not serving self-interests.
Be advised you will be the target of a Sam Sloan smear campaign just for publicizing that news item.

Great column. I agree with everything. I am proud to say that I support you for the EB. Chess will definitely be so much better when you are elected.
I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, and I completely agree with your opinion about Sam Sloan; but I am actually OFFENDED that you said you were OPPOSED (past tense) to Sam Sloan being elected. You said NOTHING about him until AFTER he was elected. Some may call this semantics, but it smacks of revisionist history. It’s the message I am used to hearing from some of the others who twist the facts to meet their own purposes.
You have no idea how many people I talked to about Sam Sloan BEFORE the election. My mistake is I did not make my recommendation on who they should vote for. Therefore, many did not vote because they may not have seen good candidates.
This is why I spoke out very early this time and I will continue to speak about until the election.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar
