Polgar’s Pick: Perelshteyn/Sarkar

I first got to know GM Eugene Perelshteyn when I invited him to the 2001 New York Mayor’s Cup. Besides being a very good chess player, he is also one of the nicest players in the circuit. Congratulations to Eugene on earning the grandmaster title!

The following game was played at the Las Vegas Masters event, held right before the National Open.
