Karpov may have been Korchnoi’s nemesis. But it is clear that Korchnoi’s average life-time rating is higher than Karpov’s. Karpov is way younger but notches up poor results these days compared to Korchnoi.
Oh, and by the way, Korchnoi has a plus score againgst Magnus Carlsen (from the latter’s days as a 2500+ GM) … LOL 🙂
