PanARMENIAN.Net – The 27th Kazan Summer Universiade due July 16-17 in the Russian city will host 40 Armenian sportsmen.
The tournament will cover 10 sports events including swimming, chess, Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, judo, sambo wrestling, boxing, athletics and weightlifting.
As the general director of Student Sport Games Federation Razmik Stepanyan told PanARMENIAN.Net world chess champions Robert Hovhannisyan and Zaven Andriasian will represent Armenia at the event.
The grandmasters are currently participating in Karen Asryan Memorial with Hovhannisyan leading the championship, followed by Andriasian.
