Ivanchuk seems to be continuing his 3000 level performance!
I know this is not classical but 8/10 at Mtel (average around 2740),
and now 2/2 so far against Shirov (also 2740)
We get the idea- Ivanchuk is underated at 2740- Enough! (just kidding)

Is Ivanchuk gay?
This isn’t advanced chess, which would be with computer assistance. They did play like that in past years sometimes and the website’s name remained “advancedchessleon”. But obviously they play normal rapid chess games now, without computer assistance.
I think they quit advanced chess since a couple of years, but I don’t remember more about it. See also:
