GM Gregory Serper of Bellevue scored an undefeated 8-1 to win the 2008 Washington State Championship and $1,500.00.
2nd place at 6.5-2.5 was NM Ignacio of Seattle.
The FIDE rated event was sponsored by the Washington Chess Federation and held in Seattle Feb 9-10 and 16-18. Two other RR sections were held as part of event.
