The CSIT World Workers Chess Championship will be held in Puebla, Mexico, from November 12/13 (arrival days) through November 19/20 (departure days) 2016.
The CSIT World Workers Chess Championship is open to all chess players who have FIDE ID Number and had neither FIDE title above FIDE Master (FM) nor FIDE rating above 2350 as per January 1st 2016.
There is no limit on the number of participants per country or organization. The Championship will be played only if there are at least 10 players from 3 different countries. A separate championship for women shall be organized if there are at least 6 women for this championship.

The Championship shall be played in 7 rounds following the Swiss System.
Time control is 90 minutes for each player for all moves. Each player will additionally receive 30 seconds for each move.
The Blitz Championship shall be held on November 16th from 17:00. The participation is open to all players (including officials, arbiters etc.) who have FIDE (World Chess Federation) ID Number.
The championship will be held according to the Swiss System with 7-9 rounds.
The rate of play will be: 4 minutes for the whole game plus 2 seconds for each move.
