Sadly, she’s not going to get a GM norm here, because the lack of one more GM :(. She won’t be over 2550 in the April rating list, since this tournament has passed the deadline of result submission. But then again, they may succumb to fierce requests (should there be some) like Morelia/Linares last year.

Zhao is a GM waiting for confirmation only, does that mean there are three GMS? Not sure aobut the rules on those! Not that will make that much difference, she will get her GM title soon enough.
You are correct that Zhao is a GM waiting confirmation thanks to the 9-game norm in North Urals cup and the 20-game norm in the 2006 Olympiad. Maybe Susan knows more about this process and can comment further.
And yes, I agree Hou being a GM is just a matter of time.
And yet another friendly reminder: The family names of Zhu Chen, Zhao Xue, and Hou Yifan are Zhu, Zhao and Hou respectively. The AWM organizer obviously has it mixed up, and I don’t think it’s wise to follow wrong examples.
No there will be no GM norms from this event unless FIDE bends its own rules which I doubt will happen.

That appears to be false. The online FIDE handbook Section B01.0.54 states:
“The date a title is achieved is the date of the last norm or the date of fulfilling the necessary rating, whichever comes later.”
In other words, you are not a GM until you are confirmed a GM, but once you are confirmed, you are retroactively considered a GM since the date you fulfilled the requirements to be a GM.
