1 b5 cxb5
2 a5 bxa5
3 c5 wins as white will Q with check on d8
But
1 b5 axb5
2 c5 bxc5
3 a5 only draws as both sides Q.
I can’t find this position in my database?
Black wins, because the Queen ending is lost in the 1. b5 ab5 line, and anything else is lost elementary.
Have move the king into action, a step to the left. It seems the white can win in the end.
This position occured four times in my games. I lost one and won two!
This position is insanely difficult. I could not solve it, and it took me about 20 minutes using a computer (without tablebase) to finally figure out the correct line for White. I would never have found it over the board. I need to work on my visualization skills.
I “ah” still don’t know. And its been days now?
