What: 4 Round Swiss Chess Tournament. Time Control: Game/30. Rd.1 Begins at 10 a.m. All other rounds
Will follow. Check-in will begin from 9:00am – 9:15am. This a “No Elimination” Tournament. Players will
Play all rounds and accumulate the most points. ½ Draw, 1 Win, 0 Loss or (Learning Experience).
Who: Any United States Chess Federation Member. New memberships & Renewals will be purchased for
*Scholastic Players Only ages 13 and Under.
Prizes: Trophies to the top 3 players and Special Chess Pins to the next 5 players.
Cost : $25 registration fee which includes U.S.C.F. membership* and a Free set of Regulation Chess Pieces
And Board. Players not requiring U.S.C.F. membership pay $10.00
Pre-registration: Entries received by : Wednesday August 20, 2008. Pay $20.00
Sections : Kinder , Primary (Grade 1st -3rd) , Elementary (Grade 4th -5th ) & Middle/High/Open

Can I play if I’m homeschooled?
Yes, anyone can play in the division they would normally play.
ie; Kinder, 1st, 2nd, 3rd or above

Can I play if I live in Mexico but am an American citizen?
Yes, anyone can play and, if they are 13 y.o.a. or younger a New or Renewal U.S.C.F.( United States Chess Federation)membership will be purchased with the entry fee.
In Addition, each scholastic player will receive a New set of Board & Pieces.
