The Armenian Chess Federation this week confirmed that the rapid match between Levon Aronian and Vladimir Kramnik will be held on May 4-6 in which the World Cup holder and the World Champion will compete for an undisclosed prize.
The Match Organizing Committee is headed by the President of the Armenian Chess Federation, Minister of Defense Serzh Sargsyan.
The Aronian – Kramnik match will be held in the Opera House, one of the most prestigious halls in the Armenian capital. The chief arbiter of the match will be IA Ashot Vardapetyan.
