This is Lubbock, Texas on the morning of February 23, 2010! It has been a crazy year with all the snow storms. The good news is my 3 little puppies are having a field day 🙂
Over the past year we have come to you many times with a “call to action” and today’s message is no different. On February 22, 2010, President Obama unveiled “The President’s Proposal”, an eleven page document incorporating the work of the House, the Senate and according to the whitehouse.gov blog, ideas from Republican members of Congress. An introduction to the President’s Proposal and the .pdf download can be found here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/health-care-meeting/proposal
Unfortunately, due to insufficient detail and time constraints, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is unable to provide a cost estimate to the American people. Complete statement here: http://cboblog.cbo.gov/?p=473
To add insult to injury, Harry Reid has promised that Democrats will push through a “pro-abortion health care bill”. More details here: http://www.lifenews.com/nat6027.html
How can our elected officials vote yes on health care reform without a clear idea of the costs involved? Without respect for life? Without concern for the constitutionality of such a bill? It’s quite simple: they can’t.
Call or email your Senators and demand that they vote “NO” on health care reform.
3) Use SOCIAL MEDIA (Facebook, Twitter, your blog, etc.) to encourage others to do the same.
4) RALLY your community to do the same! Unite with your local family, friends and neighbors and stand together in your opposition to the game being played in Washington.
Don’t draw exaggerated conclusions from small sample sizes. Global warming might in fact lead to greater variability as well- more energy to push air masses around. In any case, it is a question of overall trend rather than the weather of the moment.
Dallas how bout a lil snow? UM in Buffalo it dont even bother us , dont even bother us! See yall here in December up in Ralph Wilson Stadium!!!! SNOWBALL FIGHT!
Where’s global warming? Give back your Oscar Al Gore!
Only minor storms this year in Vermont – but next 24 hours = 11-19, another 5-10 Friday. Phil
