I will update the scores and games after my commencement speeches at Texas Tech University. I will be speaking to a crowd of about 25,000-30,000. I will let you know when this event will air on CSPAN.
In the mean time, please feel free to discuss the games with each other.
Here is the official website where you can view LIVE games.
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Topa disappointed me a lot in this tournament, I think is going to lose also this game…
I can’t believe Topalov lost again… what is wrong with him?
Excellent to hear about the speech! Perhaps you can edit the video and put it on YouTube with a link on this blog? I am sure that there are many like yours truly who would be equally inspired by your thoughtfulness, Suzi! All of your fans are proud of you for such an accomplishment in the field of enducation. Namaste…
Another big day for clean chess. 🙂
Topalov’s games are really instructive whether he loses or wins… Today’s loss against Mamedyarov is illusrative of the general rule: “don’t open the center when you are underdeveloped and especially when your king is not castled yet”.
I really like the caricature – who designed it? I just can’t read the signature….
Greetings
Jochen
