I was invited to visit Mr. Giles McCrary today at the OS Museum in Post, Texas. We received a private tour conducted by Mr. McCrary himself. It was a magnificent experience. Mr. McCrary has travelled to around 140 countries over the years and he brought back rare artifacts from each of these countries for his museum. These items are simply priceless!
If the name Post, Texas sounds familiar to you, you are not alone. It is named after C.W. Post, the founder of Post cereal. It is about 45 miles from Lubbock, Texas. The above picture is part of the OS Museum and it was the original office Mr. C.W. Post.

I live in Midland so I’m not so far from Post.
I didn’t know there was an OS museum! I’d love to visit there and see the early versions of Unix and maybe even the original Quickdraw code from the 1980’s-era Apple Macintosh, written in 68000 assembler! Oh wait…
Very funny anonymous at 5:18! An operating systems would actually draw quite a number of computer enthusiasts – just to see all of the antique machines kept to demonstrate the code…DEC, Altairs, Commodore 64, TRS-1000, Texas Instruments Home Computer, Apple II, Ohio Scientific…and on
Was the OS the brand of the ranch?
