I was White. This game was played when I was around 11-12 or so. I was just being reminded of this game by a member of chessgames.com. What should be my plan and how should I proceed? I will give you the continuation in the comment section.

me will really like to know who in cg reminded you of this game…really curious ;=)
Nice shot…
That was a great slug fest. I like games like that. Blitzering attack.
1981. wikipedia says you were born in 1969. so you were 12 then. wow. pretty good play for 12 years old.
I ran that through fritz9 and both players played very well although black was in trouble he still defended very well.
Fritz 9 gave mate in 16 at the end but it usually comes quicker. for some reason it does not count those long ones so well. and lots of times some of the moves are rediculous sacs of the queen etc.
Bishop E8 is very good for white , it wins from what i can see , 2 pawns for sure and keeps the initiative for the attack .
He cannot take on E8 because of Rxg7 , so black has to play unpleasant moves like Rc7 or Qc7 , then White has Bxc6 threatening the black rook , the pawn on d5 is dead and the attack is still strong , if black move his rook to a7 for instance , Nxe6 is strong .
Black can resign after exf6 en passant
