Going into the final round of the 2013 SPF Girls’ Invitational, only two players are still mathematically in contention for the top prize. They are Luisa Mercado Mendoza of Colombia, with a perfect 5/5, and Becca Lampman of Washington State, with 4.5/5.
Lampman will have white and she must win. A draw will give Mercado Mendoza the title and around $106,000 in prizes.
– The winner receives a full tuition and fees scholarship to Webster University (approx $100K) + $3,000 + iPad mini + and a fitness sponsorship from www.crossfit.com at a U.S. location of her choice (approx. $2,400)
– 2nd place finisher receives a Webster University scholarship (approximately $13,000+ per year x 4 years) + $1,500
– 3rd place finishers receives a Webster University scholarship (approximately $13,000+ per year x 4 years) + $500
– 1st under 13 receives an iPad mini
– 1st under 10 receives an iPad mini
