India’s chess champion Koneru Humpy after winning the gold medal at the Doha Asian games, has been approached for a modeling assignment.
But selling products, the Vijaywada girl promises will not be at the cost of her performance in chess. “I want to do more ads. I see cricketers and tennis players do it. The game becomes very popular. I want even chess to be popular in the country. After all chess was born in India,” said 19-year old Humpy.
She is currently 33 ELO points away from being called ‘Super Grandmaster Champion’ in the world of chess.

Very good Humpy! Way to go!
As long as she doesn’t model for Playboy or Penthouse, that is fine.
Super Grandmaster Champion??
Then Super-Duper Grandmaster Champion.
Then Super-Duper Extra-Special Really Great Grandmaster Champion with Bobby Fischer Dots On Top????
I wonder what kind of products Humpy could model?
