Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Should the USCF go after Bill Goichberg, Jerry Hanken, Jim Berry, Randy Hough. Bill Hall, and others civilly and criminally for the conduct?
Good luck with your effort to reform the USCF and get rid of the corruption. People like Bill Goichberg, Jim Berry and Bill Hall have done more than enough harm to the USCF. I think the USCF should go after Goichberg, Hanken, and Hough for bribery and Hall, Berry and others for covering up this illegal conduct.
Susan:
Why did Lafferty decide to drop out from re-election to the board, I would appreciate your take on it.

Admin, please delete Nate’s obnoxious and defamatory post. GM Polgar shouldn’t have to put up with an anonymous idiot like this.
This is to answer Historian’s question. Lafferty has ZERO chance to be elected. To run in this election is the easiest and cheapest way to get 3 articles in Chess Life for $250 to trash GM Polgar. Many of us predicted that as soon as the June Chess Life and the ballots are in print, he would drop out. He did. He thinks he’s smart but he’s not. This guy has done nothing for chess. He trashed Tour de France Champion Lance Armstrong the same way he does GM Polgar. Now he’ll have to answer for his action. Wouldn’t be interesting if Lance Armstrong’s team or Lance himself would testify for GM Polgar.
Stay tuned about Lance Armstrong 🙂
I think Lafferty’s only chance is to make a deal with Polgar’s attorneys and testify against the others. He’s in a lot of trouble, especially with his thousands of posts in multiple places using different handles. He can try to delete them but it will only make things worse since I’m sure any competent lawyer would have everything saved by now. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s willing to lose his shirt with the rest of them or do the right thing by testifying against the other perpetrators like Channing.
I’m confused. What was obnoxious or defamatory about it? Why was my post even posted if it was to be removed?
Thank you moderators for removing Nate’s first post. People who has no manner shouldn’t be allowed to post here. They can join all the other nutcases in the other forums.
“perpetrators like Channing.”
Thought I read that Channing was no longer part of the suit. He resigned from the USCF Exec board quite awhile ago.
In looking around the USCF website I am finding more and more useful information. You can get a list of the players in a state by rating order and several other lists.

I am even more confused now. What does Lafferty have to do with Lance Armstrong? I know Lafferty only through chess life and this blog, but if he is trashing Lance Armstrong then he must be some “high performance junkie” who loves to slander well knowwn people. I do thank the bloggers for helping me understand.

Lafferty trashed and defamed Lance Armstrong for years in the cycling forums, just as he does with Polgar in the USCF forums, rgcp, and others. It’ll be interesting to hear the testimony of Lance Armstrong and/or his management team.
Anon didn’t say that Channing is a perpetrator. He said Channing agreed to testify against the other perpetrators. He’ll probably one of many who will testify against the USCF and its board members. I think Lev Alburt will do it too.
