The International Chess Open Graz 2015 will take place on 13-20th February 2015 at the beautiful and modernHotel Spa Novapark in Graz, the second-largest city in Austria.
The event will be split into 3 tournaments: Open A (open to all), Open B (for players rated below 2000) and Open C(for participants rated under 1700).
The organizers provide prize fund in the amount of 6750 €.
Cash prizes in Open A will be awarded as follows:
Main prizes: 1400 €/ 750 €/ 500 €/ 350 €/ 250 €/ 150 €/ 100 €/ 50 €
Best woman, Senior and player U18: 100 €/ 50 €
Best Austrian player: 250 €/ 50 €
Best player from the region of Graz: 100 €/ 50 €
Best player in category 2200-2299, 2100-2199, 2000-2099: 100 €/ 50 €
The best player of Graz is also rewarded with the title “Grazer Stadtmeister 2015″.
