FIDE Trainers’ Commission Annual Summit in Sharjah (UAE)

The FIDE Trainers’ Commission held its Annual Summit for 2015 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. In previous years the Summit was held in Washington DC (United States of America – 2013) and in Barcelona (Spain – 2014).

In the morning of Thursday, 29.01.2015, in the Sharjah Cultural & Chess Club, the Meeting of the Commission took place.

For four hours (10.00-14.00) the well-known trainers Adrian Mikhalchishin (Chairman – Slovenia), Efstratios Grivas (Secretary – Greece), Uwe Boensch (Councillor – Germany), Jovan Petronic (Councillor – Serbia), Arshak Petrosian (Councillor – Armenia) & Sami Khader (Member – Jordan), examined various training subjects, applications and programs, in international level.

Afterwards, an international seminar started, which was focused in educating and certifying Trainers and Chess-Teachers on an international basis. This FIDE Trainers’ Seminar for FIDE Trainer Titles Diploma is approved by FIDE and the FIDE Trainers’ Commission (TRG).

The seminar is co-organised by the FIDE, the Asian Chess Federation (ACF), the FIDE Trainers’ Commission (TRG), the UAE General Authority of Youth & Sports Welfare – Leader Qualification Center (GAOYSW-LQC), the United Arab Emirates Chess Federation (UAECF) and the Sharjah Cultural & Chess Club (SCCC).
