The 7th round of the  FIDE Amateur World Online Blitz Championship 2015 (rating <2000) was held on July 17th at 7:00 AM UTC.

102 players represented 42 different nations in 11-round Swiss blitz championship. As usual, the first 8 players have qualified for the semifinals (October, 1 2015) and the coveted world title is getting closer for them.

андрей136 (Andrei Mesheriakov) clinched the first place with 10,5 points, leaving the runner-upCampylobacter (Francisco Rivera) 1,5 points behind.

DARKFACE (Aziz Rakhmanov) and vishykoch2 (Vishwesh Kochrekar) finished with 8,5 points, while leop65 (Igor Molodetsky)inge7000 (Luciano Di Pasquale)razz541 (Rajesh Kumar Nayak) and youazeem_player (Yousuf Azeem Makhdoomi Yousuf) scored 8 points to take the final four spots.

There is still one round to go before the list of 64 qualified players will be entirely shown. The next, and final, chance to participate in the First Amateur World Online Blitz Championship is scheduled for August, 16th 2015 at 13:00 UTC. As for all the other FIDE World’s online tournaments, as much as for all the competitions on the FOA, the AceGuard anti-cheating system allows players to enjoy the games without any worries. It has to be noted that FOA is the only chess playing platform at the moment where such a powerful and effective anti-cheating system is used.
