1…Qg2+
2.Rg2…Ra1+
3.Rg1…Be4++
… Qxg2+
Rxg2 Ra1+
Nb1 Rxb1+
Rg1 Be4#
Ah I see a pattern from a previous puzzle…
QxG2 RXG2
Ra1+ RG1
Bf4mate
1 …Qxg2+
2.Rxg2 Rh1+
3. Rg1 Be4#
Qxg2+ Rxg2
Ra1+ Rg1 (or Nb1 Rxb1, etc)
Be4#
1.Qxg2+…Rxg2 (forced)
2.Ra1+…Nb1 (technically just prolonging the pain, but…)
3.Rxb1+…Rg1 (forced)
4.Be4++
Easy, but very nice!
1. …Qxg2+
2. Rxg2 Ra1+
3. Rg1 Be4++
1. . . Qxg2
2. Rxg2 Ra1+ and mate to follow in 2 w/ the Bishop
too easy
Qxg2 and goodnight.
They are all correct . I’m not even going to bother writing the solution ! Nice queen sacrifice !
Agreed Qxg2 is great. But Be4 is not too bad either. There is no forced move for white except for resigning…Thoughts?
To Anon @2:55
Be4 doesn’t work, as:
1…. Be4
2. Qxg6+ Kxg6 (or Bxg6)
3. Nb5 and there is no immediate victory for black.
Rxg2 pins white rook
