Her final performance was 2702 and she gained over 25 points. She earned the GM norm with at least one round to spare.
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Is this good enough for a GM norm for Tanya?
She’s so hot and smart. I take her over Kosteniuk any day.
It’s a shame that K factor is so low… She should have gained at least 50 points for such a brilliant performance. Congratulations and a kiss to Tatiana.
One lucky run. That’s all that is.
A great performance by Kotsinseva and I hope she has earned a GM norm. When I first started following chess in 1998, I could count on less than 10 fingers the number of females who had the GM title. The past few years has seen more women than ever before earn the title and it warms my heart to see it! You go girls!

This competition is so crowded that so many factors other than sheer talent come into play. Look at Nepomniachtchi – surprising champion last year but no more than an also-ran this year. Lucky runs and unlucky runs can happen, so this is not an event from which to say that a player is fantastic or bad. Some can even win games by just going to the toilet.
Found a photo of Ray Robson on the official page with the description:
Рэй Робсон копирует манеру Дмитрия Яковенко
This cyrillic writings look soooo chess-vintage Botvinnik-Smyslov-Tal style…
I never learnt any Russian but it obviously means that Ray makes the same gestures at the board as Dimitri Jakovenko.
Russian is easy.
A caveman can read it!
Great Tatiana!!!!
She is beautiful and smart!!!
The best… absolutely!!!!!
