After winning the super Tal Memorial by a full point, Ivanchuk made a surge today to win the super Tal Memorial Blitz by a full point over Kramnik! Ivanchuk is also the reigning World Blitz Champion. He won it ahead of Anand last year.
Perhaps we should all start to speak to our pawn before each game 🙂

Ivanchuk rocks!
Well… it also serves me right, it’s another K almight!
Not in the beginning but in the end… it all goes round, my friend!
Anyway, a second place is also good and Karjakin had a strong finish in the last rounds.
Not so for Karpov, still he managed a decent performance considering his present rating.
Hail to Ivanchuk and his pawn talking look! 🙂
I am curious. What was Ivanchuk doing to the pawn when the picture was taken?
Hi.
Impressive victory of Vassily!
Very interesting games, for example Mamedyarov-Ivanchuk or Kramnik-Ivanchuk!
He’s not only very good with his pawn but also with his queen … he gives her often a very important role in his game!
Bye and “Vive le roi Chucky”!
Chucky!!

Oh, Chucky is just checking the gender of the lille girl chess piece.
Chucky does this often to protect the honor of the little girl pieces from Slam Sloan, as Spammy-boy can’t get enough little girl pieces to satisfy his sickness.
Yeah, Chucky awesome these days, but Magnus maybe even more impressive. He was sick on day 2, and ended 3rd. Not bad for a 17 yo kid in this field, or?
I wonder why his name is still Carlsen. “Karlsen” looks (and probably is) more norwayish and gives him better chances to win the chess Krown!
