Ray Robson has made his final IM norm (a 9 game norm) with 3 rounds to spare!
This just came from Mr. L. Salinas:
If my calculations are correct, here is what Ray needs for a GM norm:
9 game: 6.5 pts
10 game: 7 pts
11 game: 7.5 pts
In other words Ray makes a GM norm is he has 6.5 pts after 9 rounds, or 7pts after 10 rounds or 7.5 pts at the end of the tournament.

Nice job kid!
So instead of helping a kid like this, how much money has the uscf wasted for legal fees under Goichberg’s presidency?
He’s on his own. Don’t count on the uscf. They’ll be broke soon.
