The young 15 year old phenom won again today! This time, he defeated super GM Morozevich. His rating is about 2700 now. I think he is going to give Aronian a run for his money in their upcoming match. Talent + Proper Training = Success! He is tied for first with another former child prodigy Teimour Radjabov.
After 2 rounds, here are the standings:
1-2 2.0 GM Magnus Carlsen (Norway, 2675), GM Teimour Radjabov (Azerbaijan, 2717)
3 1.0 GM Alexander Morozevich (Russia, 2731)
4-5 0.5 GM Lazaro Bruzon (Cuba, 2667), GM Andrei Volokitin (Ukraine, 2662)
6 0.0 GM Yannick Pelletier (Switzerland, 2583)

Is FIDE still planning on holding the candidate matches?
His shirt says champion and he wins. I need to stop wearing my ‘loser’ shirt. I think it helps me lose.
I need to find one of those shirts. haha.
the candidates matches are suppose to take place but I dont think they have a location yet.
I like magnus. he is exciting to watch. I think he has been logging into this web site to work on the puzzles. because he knew how the horsie moved and found a great combo.
RxN then later knight moves to win the queen. it was all a very clever combination.
Magnus will win!
I still think Moro will win this tournament.
I’ve said before and I’ll say it again..this kid is the next one.
He’s a Monstah!!
(I wish I could make a bet on chess..haha)
