Round 3 will be quite interesting. Three young superstars Aronian, Carlsen, and Radjabov are facing the three with the most experience (Anand, Topalov, and Ivanchuk) in this tournament. Will youth prevail?
Round 3 matchups:
Levon Aronian – Vishy Anand
Magnus Carlsen – Veselin Topalov
Teimour Radjabov – Vassily Ivanchuk
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Susan, it’s a pity that your commentary is mainly in Spanish, I think lot of chess fans would appreciate English live coverage.
If it’s part of your contract, nothing can be done about, of course…
I’m loving it! Thanks/Gracias.
I predict:
Levon – Anand 0-1
Magnus – Veselin 1-0
Teimour – Vassily 1/2

I expect Susan thought she was commentating in English as she didn’t say she wasn’t.
If she’s commentating in Spanish, that’s impressive. More than one language at a broadcastable level is always impressive.
I do both in Spanish and English. For the street audience, it would be of course in Spanish. When I interview the players, it is in English.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar
I would have thought the commentary could be in both Spanish and English, 50-50.
What is the audience? Not just Spain and Spanish-speaking countries, but (English speaking) USA, Europe, Asia.
Carumba! Aye que loco!
😉
have the games started yet? It’s 10 minutes after the hour and the live broadcast from official website still does not show any move !!
