Anastasiya Karlovich, press-officer: The second game of the match was drawn. What are your impressions of the encounter?
Hou Yifan: It was totally equal, white did not get anything from the opening. So I went to the ending that is nothing for White, but then I think I played not very well and gave the advantage to the opponent. But after I played Rb1, the game is ok for me.
Humpy Koneru: I was trying to press on the queenside, but it was more or less equal.
AK.: Did you expect Russian game to happen in the opening?
Hou Yifan: I didn’t expect Russian defense, so I did not prepare much for it…
AK. : And what was your preparation for this match in general?
Hou Yifan: I played European Club Cup and since then I was preparing, but it was not so much time for it.
Humpy Koneru: I wanted to get some rest before this event, therefore I did not participate in Grand Prix tournaments. I will sure catch up on it in the next season.
AK.: Which match do you consider the most interesting in the chess history except this one of course?
Hou Yifan: Any match doesn’t come to my mind right now.
Humpy Koneru: I’ve seen Anand playing many matches, and I think the one against Kramnik was the most exciting.

3 beautiful ladies.
Rumor has it Anand is the other guy behind Humpy, Wow, her support is so strong !
It’s a big blessing for Humpy if the rumor is true. But I have also heard Anand recently say “Hou is a ridiculously talented girl”. Also read somewhere that he offered Hou some tips as well.
No matter what, a very classy world champion we have.
