Kamsky will go all the way!
last game for Kamsky … that’s it ! back home … watching TV … eating corn flakes …
GO PONO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love them all, but especially Cheparinov and Jakovenko.
And Carlsen and Karjakin.
And…
when does it start ? in Pacific time ?
If GM Kamsky does win today, then what will be next for him? No matter what, he certainly has done very well and hats off to all of the players…it’s been an exciting tournament!!
I hope Kamsky wins. But, again, all the players have made this a great tournament!
WHO IS WHITE?
Shirov or Jakovenko???
Very unique parings. How are they made? Why do they have to play each other and not all pass to the finals? What drinks are they allowed to have during the games?
Heard Kram is watchin’ live from his WC.
At the moment looks like three deciding games today.Carlsen-Cheparinov certainly looks very messy, but at the moment after 30…Qf4 I must say I prefer black.Pono has a great grip on the position and I wonder if kamsky can draw this.Shirov-Jakovenko is a typical marshall with white TWO pawns up and this game certainly cannot be drawn(my opinion but you never know in marshall).Karjakin-Alekseev-opening certainly looked weird for white(I dont understand the positioning of karjakins knights) so I must say I prefer black after 20…Nh5.Any other opinions?
Well it all changed in a couple of moves.Cheparinov exchanged queens and endgame with two pieces vs. rook certainly looks very promising for white.Shirov might have some problems with blacks queen on c2 and black is certainly gonna take at least a pawn back.Kamsky still under pressure but not a lot of weaknesses in his position.Karjakin-Alekseev drawn after blacks 20…Nh5.
wow.Shirov a piece up.I totally forgot that B on h3 is locked in.Only a miracle can save Jakovenko.Kamsky still strategically very much lost, when Carlsens pawn on g6 really might become mighty.
all games start at 5 am new york time. so 3 hours to california gives 2 am starting time.
