its almost impossible to answer the question he just had so many good games, the one tony said rings a bell but i dont know by heart any game not even my own ones!!!
but ill look at the ones i recall i liked most and answer u back v soon ok, but ok thats all.
good idea!! i saw the chessboard u learn it looks coloful and nice, thanks a lot, im trying to work it out but still havent been able to. im confused, the prices u have in parenthesis are an alternative way to go to Budapest by land?? if my geography is not faling me u can only get to Hungary by plane from our continent, right??? see usoon aligator!
Seriously, I think Susan got the question wrong, I think she meant “What´s your favourite Tal-game during every week he played actively?”.
Because of the impossibility (for me) to choose any of Tal´s great achievements (there are just too many of them) I´ll do something unusual, Tal lost that game: It´s one of my favourites and Tal is involved. It might not be as high-class as other games, but very entertaining nonetheless:
URS-ch29 1961 Baku Round 15 White: Nezhmetdinov, Rashid Black: Tal, Mihail 1-0
Botvinnik – Tal, World Championship 1960, 6th game Although it has been analyzed to death and may be an unsound sacrifice, but I admire most Tal’s 6th game in his match vs. Botvinnik in 1960 when he sacrificed his knight on f4 ( I think this must be the game that also elizabeth selected as her favorite). I’d really like to know about your analysis on this, Susan!?
so many games to chose from, but i can say for sure my favorute tal quote is “I drink, I smoke, I gamble, I chase girls — but postal chess is one vice I don’t have”.. i have all those vices, and i even enjoy “postal” chess, although i prefer todays “internet” version
I vote for Tal-Tringov, Amsterdam Interzonal 1964 – it’s a somewhat simple and straightforward game, very instructive for beginners, and with a pretty finish. At some moment of the game, white has two pieces “en prise” (routine for Tal). But Tal commented about such situations that his opponent can only take one piece at a time !!
1959. Yugoslavia. Bobby Fischer. Tal was white. Absolutely brilliant.
Botvinnik-Tal 1960 Championship match, the king’s indian defense featuring the positional sac 21… Nf4
I don’t know the game, but Danny Kopec has an awesome flash video lecture on it on ICC, where Tal offers sacrafice after sacrafice.

Tal-Larsen 1965 is my all-time favorite.
But Tal-Unzicker 1961 deserves an honorable mention.
Tal- Botvinnik, Game 8, World Championship 1961.
Tal-Fischer, Belgrad 1959; Sicilian with …a6 and …b5; “An example of one of Tal’s unbreakable defences” http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1044001
Tal’s game at Lone Pine 1976 against
Mikhail Tal vs. Vladimir Simagin
U.S.S.R. Championship 1956
Tal-Larsen Bled 1965
where Larsen tries to exchange queens 7 times, but Tal refuses and goes for a win.

Analyse a Tal’s game is a great promess !! some analysts have spent many years to do that, and the last word is not said on many games !

This game will get my nod. There are so many.
