I just visited D.C. two weeks ago. Thanks for posting the wonderful pics of the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument, the White House (great view and such a wonderful day when I was there…not too hot…not too cold), the Capital Building, etc.
For me, and for those that haven’t been fortunate enough to visit our nation’s capital, the Lincoln Memorial is quite humbling…it really is beautiful at night.
Also, Arlington National Cemetery…a sacred place…history is all around you and (other than the terrible traffic) quite educational!
I’m happy that you are visiting there and promoting chess. Keep up the good work.
