Superb speech. Nice work Susan! You could fit in anywhere; beside presidents and world leaders, with monarchs, next to generals, or even with the Pope. You are a true ambassador of the sport.
Dear Ms. Polgar……………This past weekend my wife and I attended the graduation of our grandson at Texas Tech. The whole event went very well and the entire program was presented beautifully. We were so imprressed with your commencement address and found it such a refreshing change to most atempts
at similar events. While I’m very limited in the skill of Chess I do know the mechanics of the game but very short sighted when it comes to strategies. To hear about all of your accomplishments was most inspiring but to learn it all began at such a young age was incredible. Your comparison of the game of
CHESS to the game of LIFE was a perfect message for the young graduates to hear.
Many thanks for the opportunity to hear you last Saturday morning. Congratulations on a job well done as well as your honory degree. I only wish I had a chance to meet you and shake the hand of a champion.
Best wishes and continued success in all your wonderful endeavors.
Amazing speech!!!
Congratulations .
What an awesome speech! Very impressive!
It took incredible courage to stand up in such a large crowd and give a speech not just once but twice!
