Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
The US Championships will be awarded to Frank K. Berry again, courtesy of Bill Goichberg. That’s my prediction.
do you really think berry will sponsor again after Irina’s tantrum? chess players insist on biting the hand that feeds…
I also think it’ll go to Berry. Oklahoma wants publicity and they got it. He’ll do it again to save Goichberg’s behind since no one else will bother to bid.
I THOUGHT BERRY had said this was his last year. If it was me I would not bid on the mens or the womens. Berry is the last one standing if he is still standing.
I thought this was supposed to be a civil blog?
What’s not so civil? Many people seem to think that Berry will get it again. What’s wrong with that?
If chess sponsors keep getting slandered, there won’t be any sponsors!
