Why only 49 blogs in a top 50 ??
I see 50.
Sorry I’m not agree, they are better blogs like Nigel Davis Chess Improver or the spanish one http://loquemesaledelospeones.blogspot.com.es/.
Very few people read Davies’ blog or the Spanish one. What’s the point of having a blog which almost no one reads. Same like you can have the best book which no one reads. What’s the point?
Top 50 chess blogs without the best?http://xadrezmemoria.blogspot.pt/
The fact that no one reads in this age of computers, explosion of information and ignorance, speaks a lot about our age! The best books are not the ones in the top of sales by Amazon! There are authors today who attack the chess classics and reveal great ignorance and sometimes they are GM´s! Society is full of marketing and critics that are part of this marketing. If you have the best book that no one reads, it is because the masses are not right and in fact, in the majority of cases only a few people (elite) have access and enjoy. The fact that Coca-cola is more popular or the Beatles doesnt mean that Chateax Lafitte wine or Classical music is not better! A book in another language? What is the problem? Do you know that spanish or portuguese are languages with millions arround the world?
Qué maravilla ojala mi pagina http://comprarajedrez.hol.es/ se acerque algún día a esos puestos.

Hello everyone. I am someone who is a bit of a novice in the game of chess. I know how to move the pieces and am familiar with the very VERY basic terminology. So I was playing a game with someone and the game reached a point where his pawn reached the last rank. Hence promoting his pawn to a queen. Then he said that when a pawn gets promoted to a queen, that piece then goes back to its original place. Is that true?!? Does it go back to its original place after being promoted?!?… Would appreciate any help. Thank you
