O.K., Kf8 in the end was a one-move-blunder, but until then Carlsen always had a draw.
But it#s amazing how he keeps on fighting even in very drawish positions…
? Carlsen lost?
Personally I can’t stand Carlsen’s play/style but I like this game.Somewhere around 53rd move he seemed a lot better.I logged in and I find 0-1?! Ouch!
Also I can’t see why not on 54.Rxg6.
Obviously Carlsen loves winning and he appears to have great confidence,
but trying to outplay world class players in these types of positions is not going to work very often. Tremendous fighting spirit but maybe loses don’t hurt him as badly as they appear to hurt other super grandmasters. A rare strength perhaps, or is it a weakness?
Carlsen has lost two notable games recently from pushing too hard, against Alekseev in Biel and then this one to Movsesian.
What a “flaw” to have!! go Magnus.

Please note: Carlsen will never be caught by moves from his losing games! Alekseev and Movsesian have made the kid more dangerous opponent for Anand and Kramnik.
One learns more from losses.
Go Magnus!
