Who do you think Senator McCain will pick as his running mate?
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin
Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal
Florida Gov. Charlie Crist
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney
Senator (D) Joe Lieberman
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
Who do you want Senator McCain to pick as his running mate?
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I would say Kramnik. He is the only guy who beat Kasparov in a tournament and Kramnik will be needed if Obama selects Kasparov. He will also be needed if Kasparov ascends to the Russian presidency over Putin. Kramnik is the only guy who knows what makes Kasparov tick. And we may need another Berlin Wall again if this Russia-Georgia thing gets bigger.
Who cares who he picks?
I thought this was a CHESS blog
It would be Sarah Palin most likely.
or Condoleeza Rice
but most likely Sarah Palin.
He better pick a vice-vice-president as well – in case he dies of old age or something, the VP can become the President and the V-VP can become the VP.
Just as a note, Senator Lieberman is an Independent, not a Democrat. So there ought to be an “I” next to his name.
Lieberman is a Democrat but ran as an independent because the Democrats would not have him because he thinks it is important to actively struggle against Islamofacism.
It could also be Meg Whitman, former CEO of EBay. She was one of the three people McCain mentioned last Saturday that he would seek advise from if he were President.
Martha Stewart!!!!
McCain also said he would consult Congressman John Lewis, whom said today that McCain has never consulted him for anything. If McCain is elected he will be worse than Bush.
McCain would choose the devil as a running mate. So it would be Dick Cheney’s clone baby. Hynah! Hynah! Hynah!
How about doing something innovative and picking a blogger?
No, not Susan, she’s not a “natural born” citizen. Sorry.
So how about Glenn “Instapundit” Reynolds? Heh.
It doesn’t matter.
They’re all brainwashed thugs anyway.
Thugs are in prison. Just visit one. And the islmothugs should all be in prison. But since your freedom came free to you. You wouldn’t know about that.
CONDI,CONDI,CONDI.
On the “pick a blogger” tack, it would be really fun if McCain picked Michael Huffington (oilman, one-term congressman, now a director of the Republican Leadership Council)…
…and Obama picked his ex-wife, left-wing blog impresario Arianna Huffington!
My prediction is Tim Pawlenty, who took over Jesse Ventura’s talk-radio show in Minnesota. There is math by which the GOP can lose Florida (or Ohio) and win with Minnesota. He would help with both conservatives (indeed, he’s actually tried to do some things on abortion) and “blue-collar” voters.
Just as a note, Senator Lieberman is an Traitor, not a Democrat. So there ought to be an “T” next to his name. He is the slimyest of the slimy switching parties to defeat a democrat truly chosen by his faithful party then duping the people of New Hampshire into electing him to another turn in the Senate.
McCain will pick Tom Ridge.
Wow. I didn’t realize that it was the people of New Hampshire that elected the Senator from Connecticut. I wonder if the Ned Lamont thinks of New Hampshire as a traitorous state. Funny thing, that ignorance is.
Realistically the VP choice comes down to two people. Romney or Pawlenty as both strengthen the conservative base. All other choices have faults for one reason or another and it would behoove McCain to choose somebody to shore up his one weakness – the economy. Therefore my pick on this question is Mitt Romney as he is a whiz on economic affairs, as well as being very clean cut with no faults worthy of Democratic attacks.
As for the Democratics – look for Obama to choose Biden (a very safe pick) or Kaine. Choosing Kaine though would question Obama’s experience once again as neither person would have any real experience in office.
The growth on the side of McCain’s face should be the VP. He should name it “Pustulio”.
Obey Pustulio!
