We europeans don’t understand how weapons and religion can be so important to people in the US. There are issues far more important.. Look at the economic crisis or at the war in Iraq. Many US-citizens have no health insurance. Just to mention some of the problems.. I really don’t get how anybody believes his right to possess a gun can be more important than those largely unsolved problems (and there are many other REAL problems) mentioned above.
I would think that everyone would value religious freedom… if that isn’t important to you, I’d suggest that you re-examine your values.
As far as the right to bear arms is concerned, it’s so that we can protect ourselves against a government that would turn into a tyrannical dictatorship (perhaps you should read up on the American Revolution).
Granted, there are several issues that face our nation; but asking the government to solve these problems will very likely make the problem worse… and waste lots of tax dollars in the process.
Bear in mind that in Texas, it is the mark of a solid citizen to carry your long gun on a rack in the rear window of your pickup truck, with your dog in back.
Does the law in Texas still permit people to drive with an open beer in hand?
OBAMA HAS TO BE PRESIDENT, IF MCCAIN WILL BECOME PRESIDENT THEN AMERICA WILL COLLAPSE
The house of representatives decides.
Don’t forget to Barack the Vote!
If you want more pain, vote for McCain.
If you love your momma, vote for Obama!
If you hate the USA, vote for the Demoncrats!
Still clinging to my guns and religion!

Amen Rev. Boyle!
If you genuinely care for the USA, pray to the god of your choice that Obama does not win.

No because Americans are not drunkards like Europeans.
