Vladimir Klitschko just defeated Sultan Ibragimov via unanimous decision (119-110, 117-111, 118-110)
I watched all 12 rounds LIVE. I was actually amazed that Ibragimov went the distance. I thought it would have been a knockout within the first few rounds. By the way, another chess playing former World Heavyweight Champion Lennox Lewis was one of the commentators for this bout for HBO.
Quote by EMANUEL STEWARD, Klitschko’s trainer: “They were both chess players, very detailed.”

Wow! What are rules of Chess Boxing?
Is Sultan any relation to Ildar Ibragimov ?
Which one will defend himself against Ilyumzhinov?

oh, by the way, WGM Pähtz played blindfolded … 🙂
This was one of the most boring fights I have ever seen. Klitschko should have KO this guy in the early rounds…and he just couldn’t deliver. Even his trainer told him in the corner to finish this. I wish Lennox Lewis would come back from retirement so he would teach this guy how to box.
They look like they are kissing!
Call Laffertini, he’s into that kind of thing…
