After closing the gap to 3 points in round 9, the Rising Stars need to score 4-1 today to even up the match. The young guns have White on all 5 boards. Not only they did not score 4-1, they did not even win the match. They were crushed by the score of 3.5 – 1.5! This was a complete shocker!

Smeets deserves it.
Shocker eh? Bit of an exaggeration perhaps.
Of course it’s a shocker. This was the most lopsided result for the experience with 5 black. They won with white in other rounds but not with black by this margin.
As if they were a team?!
Wow!! Susan BLACK is actually winnin some games WOW!!! hmm!? Susan i know you get around a bit like Tupac! hehe! So if u see Svidler around let him know the ULTRAMODERNIST says it seems the smarter he gets the dumber WE get!!! Trust he will understand!! hahahaha They funny.
The Amsterdam Shocker: She was actually a HE.
Nakamura is overrated !
Due to the exponential number of tournaments and players, the rating of the players is much higher than 15 years ago. So a 2700 now, is more or less a 2550 15 years ago, i’m not far from truth.
