Magnus Carlsen playing Bughouse
During Arctic Chess Challenge in Tromsø Magnus Carlsen spent the last 3 days with his family and friends in the city. Even when Magnus are on vacation he spends time on chess, soccer and whatever is fun.
During a Barbecue Party he and his schoolmates from the Norwegian College of Elite Sports (NTG) spontaneously arranged a soccer match between themselves and the rest of the bunch. Magnus & Co played for about half an hour and had great fun.
On the picture you see Magnus and his teacher GM Simen Agdestein playing Bughouse! Agdestein will from the 20th of August take part on the experienced team in the match Rising Stars vs. Experience in Amsterdam. Magnus Carlsen’s next challenge is the Grand Slam final in Bilbao from the 2nd of September.

Is he any good in bughouse?
He has to be! He drank most of his Orange Juice!
Now he will transform into a huge green muscular monster and pound his opponent to bits!
Go Magnus!
How can they play bughouse without clocks?
